I lost my cell phone on the PATH around Journal Square and pretty much considered it gone after calling last and found a few times over the weekend. I suspended my service and prepared myself to go the store in order to buy a new phone. Around nine this morning, my girl calls me in order to let me know that someone found my phone, looked at the calls made, and gave her a call to let her know my phone had been found. I met the gentleman in Netherwood, NJ, thanked him, and gave him a reward of twenty bucks and some chocolate stuff work which cost around sixteen bucks, including my 40% discount. I didn't have time to really thank him besides saying, "Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it!"

There are some nice people out there, and S. Martin from Plainfield, NJ is one of them.

I thought i lost my phone at school today, i called my dad when i got home frantic cause the thing is worth over $130 and i don't have the means to get another one but i found it shortly after in my car wedged under the passenger seat.

If it were ever lost i hope to God some prick wouldn't be the first person to run into it.

You're really lucky ADF.

Your welcome.

3 things, you're hands are a little clammy, the chocolate tasted like shit, and I hope you don't mind all those "educational" calls I made to Ghana before giving you back your phone.

Alkey, just don't make the ribbon look like a fish, or something.

Yes, there are still a few of us left in the world.
I myself have tracked down two cell-phone owners and returned to them what is rightfully theirs!!

I found a cell phone on the LIRR a couple of months ago....I finally got in touch with the owner.....He wanted to give me 2 tickets to a Broadway play that he had bought for his 25th wedding anniversary.....I hope they had a good time at the show!!!!

Update Plainfield List:

Used to play my school. theres one more.

This is one of the true ironies of the world because when you look at it, you find this, and its not good or bad, it just is:

Good Samaritans are Selfish.

Some religions see them as a bother and a nuisance, which they often are, but thats completely different from being Selfish.

this story has motivated me to steal someone's wallet, take the money out, and then return their credit cards and id to them.

I lost my wallet last year. I had some important stuff in there, like my card that says I can travel with my medicine on airplanes, and I had some stuff in it tht I just wanted(photo's, cards(my big A.S.S card, ect).

I thought it was gone for good until one day I'm sitting in fifth period and the phone rings in my class. The teacher goes and picks it up and tells me to go after school to the office to pick up my wallet.

They didn't tell me who brought it, but everything was there(even the 3 dollars I had, the only money I had at the time). I'm kinda upset I never found out who found it and returned it. I'd give him a great big hug!
