Does anybody remember a special on HBO called Disco Beaver From Outerspace? It was on in the very late 70's or very early 80's.

I saw Disco Beaver many many times in the 70's and love it. I have tried to find it everywhere without success. When my daughter was at Ole Miss as a theatre major, one of her professors knew immediately what she was talking about when she brought it up in a film class. It contained a great song called "Cowboys love Cowboys Best of All. If anybody knows anyone with a copy of this film I would pay almost anything for it. It is truly pricless!!!!!!

I remember there was a scene with the Pope at an ironing board. The phone rang and he put the scalding hot iron up to his ear (this was when the idea of a Polish Pope was still novel).

I remember this show was re-played many times on HBO.
