I think the problem is more in predicting Which Strain of Which Flu will be the One, and predicting it months ahead, coz the manufacturing takes some time.

Whole lotta different strains, including Andromeda, so it's a crap shot each year. We've been lucky so far, and lucky still = about 30,000 dead this year from the flu, just like last year, and the year before...

30,000 dead, and this somehow flies under the radar for some. If we heard something was offing 30,000 Americans a year you'd think people would be 'lets get that fucker!'.

And we can.

But we choose not to.

So we die.

Hmmmm...not bitter; only real point I was making was that there is a rash of unfunny people on the message board, with nothing original to contribute themselves, so they attempt to make their own snotty little points by trying to end discussions - something you've actually done more than once on here, I believe.

Well....we might have been able to, but we probably couldn't have won the Revolution without them....The blocked up the harbour at Yorktown, and them and the Dutch kept a lot of British troops tied down in other parts of the world...

But the key is...we still would have been a country even if we had lost the Revolution. We made too much money for England for them to just come in and burn the place down... Hell the Howes were trying to put out peace feelers after the New York disaster..there were a lot of British generals that liked America...What probably would have happened was that we would have eventually been given independence like Canada...

Our role in 1918 however..its way underrated. There is no way the Allies could have won the war without us, Cause the French and British were done....Could you say with certainty that France would exist to-day if we hadn't gone over in '18? Or in WW2 for that matter? And we even helped them screw up in 'Nam....we basically fought the war for them over there in the 50's...everything except ground troops we paid for the whole damn thing...we even had American Pilots running supplies to Dien Bien Phu...

The problem with the flu vaccines is when the gov't decided to undercut all the private companies and buy all those flu vaccines itself...
