Well it looks like there is going to be another fare hike coming soon. And to add insult to injury, there can be service cuts as well. I know that Metro North has piss poor performance and as a result my commute into the city will be even more expensive

If the MTA didnt have a monopoly supported by the area's government on public transportation, there'd be cheaper methods. Unfortunatly, that will never happen.

I use the LIRR and I have to say that service is usually good...Port Jefferson line....but the fares are highly inflated!!!! Suck me!!!!
