42nd-delay

OK, so putting aside the whole question of whether Iraq's WMD programs warranted our invasion, don't you think that our priority after we had invaded would be to secure the nuclear sites we knew about already?
Not only did our leaders not have a plan for the stuff they didn't expect to happen, they didn't have a plan for solving the problem they invaded for in the first place - the danger that Iraq's weapons program could give terrorists WMDs. Inept is the word that comes to mind.

"We were satisfied when we were in Iraq that it was not being used for a nuclear weapons program. In the wrong hands, it could be turned to the use in a nuclear weapons program. Until we establish that this material is in responsible hands, we have to treat it as a serious proliferation concern."
