I'll wait for the movie that comes out that tells the real story behind this film. Or maybe I'll wait for the one that exposes the lies of that film
And do you really trust someone who calls themselves "dick"

Michael Moore tries to shove all his propaganda in everyones faces with all of his criticisms and opinions, Yes thats his 1st ammendment right, but when he is criticized all his supporters cry foul, what a double standard, you cant have it both ways

We can sit and debate the lies of different issues all day. However, debating the quality of this new film is a joke. Did anyone actually WATCH the trailer?
What a f'n bore fest. "Micheal Moore sucks. He's a liar". Really riveting stuff.

I find it hysterical that a loud mouth makes movies, writes a couple of books, flaps his gums at the Oscars, and the right wing completely freaks out, to the point they make not one - not two - not three - but FOUR movies on him!
Michael Moore Hates America (2004) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0411646/)
Celsius 41.11 (2004) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0424885/)
Fahrenhype 9/11 (2004) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0427228/)
Larry Elder's "Michael & Me" (2004) - not currently in IMDB (http://www.larryelder.com/)
Talk about an original thinking crowd! Too bad someone didn't come up with the brilliant idea to do a conservative film festival showcasing this crap.
Oh wait...we just missed it. (http://www.libertyfilmfestival.com/)
Boy...sure sorry i missed that! Multiple documentaries on Michael Moore, an expose on how misunderstood Ann Coulter is, a doc on the impact of "The Passion of the Christ," plus a tribute to Ronald Reagan, not to mention a closing night screening of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS!
Jesus H. Christ - for every Michael Moore the Democrats have, the thin skinned conservatives have 5 or 6 loud mouth pricks running around going unchecked. Before it opened, no one had even seen his last movie, and there were websites and organized spin machines in place tearing him down. And the very same people who pissed and moaned that people weren't giving "Passion of the Christ" a fair shake before it opened earlier in the year, were the very same lemmings who bought what the right wing media sold them.
Aside fom the obvious fat jokes, why is Michael Moore so fucking scary?

Michael Moore tries to shove all his propaganda in everyones faces
When has any pundit EVER shoved anything in your face?
Or is it "shoving in your face" only when you don't like what's being said?

My point is that the 1st ammendment isn't just reserved for people on the left. Moore has the right to make his claims but he is a victim of the so called right wing conspiracy when he is criticized

Uh.....what? Nobody brought up a right wing conspiracy. In fact, Moore's not even getting supported in this thread really. In fact, curtoid's point is that the right gets a little too worked up about Moore without really needing to, and just draws more attention to Moore's cause.
Are we reading the same thread?

Could not agree more. His publicist must leap for joy when these things are released, like the day Al Fanken's use of the term 'fair and balanced' caused so many heads to explode it took what was probably a mediocre book [i didnt read it, so i plead ignorance] and shot it up the charts.
Yes his work is inflammatory, and anyone has a right to call it into question, but some are definiately doing the 'Much Ado About Nothing' thing with Moore.
He feeds the Machine. The machine feeds him. Both need each other, but both keep on going.

Aside fom the obvious fat jokes, why is Michael Moore so fucking scary?
Because he's nothing more than a bitter pundit who uses his talent at filmmaking to deliberately distort the truth and / or flat-out lie in order to persuade the thought of the masses. This in itself is not scary, as even liberals like Moore have hardly cornered the market on political propaganda. What is frightening, however, is the number of people on the left who BUY the lies as the flat-out truth or, perhaps even more sinister, you have individuals such as you who realize Moore's full of shit but just don't care because he furthers the type of political agenda that you support. To paraphrase Pushkin, "Better the lies that suit our own political bias than 10,000 truths."

Read it or not, that's a remarkably accurate assumption.
I mean, who puts out something with a title as desperate as "Rush Limbaugh Is a Big Fat Idiot" if they're not trying to disguise the fact they're a horrendously unfunny author?

All true. But he wouldn't have been able to pull all that off if Limbaugh, Hannity, Savage, Coulter, et al hadn't proudly blazed the trail years ahead of him. Your reaction to Moore is exactly what us "lefties" have felt time and time again over the last decade+ as extremist right pundits have subverted radio and books to get their shmear campaigns out there. Moore probably just sticks even more in your craw since he beat you guys to the movies. Doesn't make him right, and hopefully it'll help actually bring some of us TOGETHER, since now we have a mutual understanding of just how fucking awful political pundits are.
My point was and still remains...pundits, ALL of them, are worthless and weak. They contribute nothing but deception, conflict, lies and distortions. DON'T FEED THE PUNDITS!
