So has anyone checked out the Native American Museum yet in DC??
I plan to visit it the next time I'm in the DC area.

I went on Saturday - however, to be clear here, it's official name is what some may consider to be politically incorrect: The National Museum of the American Indian.
It's a pretty impressive building; it has a lot of stuff, but honestly I thought it would/could have more. Most of the collection is on the 3rd and 4th floors - the second floor is gift shop and some display, and the first floor is another gift shop; food; and a large theatre. There's also a small theatre on the top level.
Part of the problem with going on Saturday was the crowd - it was hard to get a real handle on the place and enjoy it. We did go through it, however, with a friend of ours who worked in the collections office of the museum, and we were able to get some behind the scenes info.
