show has to win that or what would be the purpose of bringing him back as the animal killer.

I only caught the end. I wanted to see where Eddie screwed up that pissed Angle off but I didn't see anything. Maybe it was edited out. But why would they bring back 3 guys next week who will get a bigger response then anyone on their roster unless they plan to do something more with them? I mean McMahon wouldn't even bring Austin back when he was voted best wrestler on Raw in the 90's or whatever it was.

Sources tell PWTorch.com that WWE has made contact with Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, and Mick Foley in the last week and all will be part of a video segment or segments celebrating the five year anniversary of Smackdown. As we reported earlier tonight, they are not expected to actually be at the arena in Phoenix, Ariz. next Tuesday night for the Smackdown taping.

It was a last second idea by WWE as a ratings boost to attempt to bring back some big names to help the show battle stiff competition from the other broadcast networks. The details of how they appear on the show or whether Austin, Hogan, Foley, and Stephanie will be featured together in the same segment or in individual segments isn't known.

Steve Austin lives in Los Angeles now and Hulk Hogan will be in Los Angeles next Monday and Tuesday for a music convention promoting his daughter. Raw and Smackdown take place in Arizona next week, so the camera crew will be close enough to easily fly to L.A. to film segments with Hogan and Austin for the program.

The exact wording on tonight's promo states: "Next week they're back. Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Mick Foley, Stephanie McMahon, Mr. McMahon, and Stone Cold Steve Austin return for the fifth anniversary of Smackdown."
