i remember receiving a picture like the one below from my eldest brother when i was around 10 years old. i still have it in my basement, 32 years old and i still love it...

i saw a documentary on him last night and he painted and drew some great stuff. some of his more famous stuff are from the Conan movie...

This was rejected and now I'm seeing why. I guess it was pretty pathetic to be into fantasy art. But it's not the worst thing I've been into so, yeah, I was into Frazetta, Boris Valejo, Michael Whelan. I read Edgar Rice Burroughs, Philip Jose Farmer, Piers Anthony, Ray Bradbury, some of the Conan series, Elric... I was collecting Heavy Metal for a while. I got two 13-sided dice lodged in my colon once. I bought some metal albums just for their artwork. And I watched a lot of those B-movie fantasy flicks that I can't remember the names of now. I am geek, hear me... not have sex. Thanks for reminding me Funk.
