- In an unexpecting move, WWE has released Dr. Tom Prichard. No reason has been announced, but it happened Thursday and came about very suddenly.

The word going around Titans Towers is that Tommy Dreamer has taken over Prichard's responsibilities with WWE, including what he did in the WWE developmental program. Earlier in the week, Dreamer was sent to Ohio Valley Wrestling and announced to the workers that he was there to observe the developmental process.

As it turned out, Dreamer was there to prepare for his new responsibilities, whether he was aware of it or not.

Good now we don't have to deal with any more of Pritchard's backstage crap. Tommy is the perfect choice and I just hope that this isn't a continuing trend of sending ECW guys to OVW to train them, even though Storm retired.

I hate to tell you this, but it's actually Tom's brother Bruce who's the moron bringing us all the shitty retro gimmicks and who is largely responsible for the demise of the cruiser division.

Good for Tommy, though. I'm glad to see his stock with the company rising, and to see that his hard work and dedication to the business is paying off.
