Very Nice pics!
Some of them remind me of the landscape you see when driving west on the Pennsy turnpike with the rolling hills and valleys...
Limerick - Angelas Ashes is one of my favorite movies and it takes place there

They had to film that movie in Dublin, because the old style "county council" houses had been torn down in Limerick. Limerick's going through an urban renewal. Some good, some bad. I spent some time in Limerick, not on this trip, but before. I love that city, I like Dublin more.

I too was on that trip! I caught a leprechaun and named him Chester! He danced and gave me gold, but the only way he would give me the gold was if I tickled his feet and tummy. Boy was that fun!

I was a bit disappointed. I saw the title and thought this topic was started by Clare....I came in to read details. :)
Nice pics. Looks like it was a good trip, and Ireland is beautiful.
I was in Limerick about...geez...18 years ago. I don't remember much now, beyond the kindness of the inn owner to me, as I'd gotten sick on the flight over and was feeling miserable, at least until that bowl of potato soup and the "You're not going to finish your meal?" concern.

Now I'm starving
I'm about to turn it up a notch!

Furie great pictures Last time I was in Ireland was in the late 80's and Dublin has changed a bit. I sepnt time also on the Southeast coast and had plenty of sunshine until I hit Limerick for the flight home. It was a great time and they made me feel welcome and kept me drunk
you have two choices: Castration or a one way ticket to New York

if you replace 'old buildings' with 'smokestacks' I might agree; at least the part near EWR.
