Hell yeah. We've done plenty of things, and we are still doing plenty of things. Discovering space, making breakthroughs in science, curing diseases that couldn't be cured years ago. Maybe it's because I don't pay attention to the media, the media can severely skew your views on the world. They don't report about good things that have happened unless it's news worthy, and on the unlikely chance that it is, they won't dwell on it like they have with this terrorism debaucle. The trick is to look past that stuff, and take terrorism for what it is, a tactic used to terrorize. Killing hope is what terrorism is for.
