Christ...I was just watching the news and saw that Rodney is going in for heart surgery today.....He looks like he's a 102!!! But still funny...a reporter asked him how long he will be in the hospital He said" If all goes well, about a week...if it doesn't...about an hour and a half"

And HBO shows a lot of his old comedy specials, a lot where he showcased people who were "young comedians" at the time (early to mid-80's). Everyone from Jerry Seinfeld to Jeff Foxworthy to Joel from MST3K were on those shows. Guy gave a LOT of people their breaks.
