I am not really a fan of wrestling at all. I am familiar with most of the big named stars just by hearing about them. If I'm bored and I'm flipping channels, I might watch wrestling for a bit once in a while. It's fun, but doesn't hold my interest.

However, with all that said, yesterday (Sunday) MTV ran a full-day of their Tough Enough reality show. This show was awesome. I mean, I had it on for like 8 hours solid (not necessarily watching intently all the time, but I would turn my head if I heard something interesting).

Extremely cool to see the wrestlers like Al Snow up close and personal. His wrestling persona is so freaky, but in person he's damn cool. The contestants are really put through tough training. Plus they don't have to manufacture any phony or forced "conflict" between the contestants to keep the action going because each show is pure action.

The final show will be live this coming Thursday. I hope the little guy wins. The big Harvard goon is just too boring and the other (black?) guy is boring. The little guy has some good moves, seems to be passionate about the WWF, and it would be neat to see him going against guys more than twice his size.

I'm pulling for Josh too, on the underdog factor alone, but I don't really think there's any way in hell anyone but Maven takes it. He just has the look and charisma that the WWF wants (and that's what they care about most. You don't think the Rock has gotten where he is based upon his stunning technical wrestling ability do you?) Josh has the heart and the passion, but he's too small, and as much as Jim Ross wants a solid light-heavy division, Vince is too homo for the big guys (I mean, Kronik?? WTF??). Chris is just an arrogant ass who's way too rigid in his work rate. If he wins the contract.....Christ. Might as well start calling him Shawn Stasiak Jr.

And I hope Nidia wins, cause I just find Taylor boring.
