Does anyone know anything about Hotmail....Lately, when I check my mail..it tells me I'm over my storage ..that's with one or two messages...I deleted everything and now I'm down to 42%....What gives????

do you check it using outlook? if so, then i bet it is stuff that is automatically put into your sent bin. this does not happen if you only use the webmail version.

Hotmail is bullshit. They promised 200mb in the spring and it turns out that shit isnt coming until the fall. Reeshy, what you should do is open up your Hotmail account in Outlook Express and move the folders to a local drive inbox.

I got an e-mail two weeks ago saying they were upping my account storage limit to 250...but THAT account I've had for almost ten years now. My other acocunt, which is only a year old, didn't get it, and the gist of the e-mail message was that my older account was getting it because it's been around for so long.

I have has my hotmail account since 2000 and I have seen the many upgrades and downgrades of Hotmail.

Over the years they have changed their look, made it even easier for the most unknowledgable computer person to use have an email address, added some features, and have remained the #1 email requested website in the world.

But they did one thing that has made me mad over the years also : LOWER STORAGE SPACE. I remember starting with 20MB and little by little they reduced it and now I have a measly 2MB! They don't consider old account holders... And I am definetly NOT paying for extra space when only junk mail comes in.

The best one I had, and its closed now I think, but check it out, was canada.com . Very good service and space, but this was back in 2001.
