The last weekly TNA PPV is on Sept. 8 and they will then move to three hour PPV's on Sunday's once a month.
They announced it on their site but does this mean that Impact is now going to become a two hour show?

I don't think that it will, although that would probably benefit them. Then again, they're PAYING FOX / CSN to air the program so maybe an extra hour isn't a wise move.
There was talk of moving the timeslot from Fridays to Sundays at 10 or 11, which would put it up against the WWE Experience show, which is a piece of shit and, as Meltzer has stated, if they were to do well up against that show - any WWE program - it would be a big plus. But football season is starting so I don't really think a Sunday morning time slot would be advantageous, considering all of the pregame shows that air on all of the various networks, which would no doubt eat away at their audience.
This decision to do away with the weekly PPVs isn't necessarily a dumb move (they were losing money hand over fist with the buyrates they're getting now - I've heard as much as 100k a week). They need a few thousand buys for their montly PPVs - FAR less than what the WWE gets / needs every month - to break even, which is probably doable. But make no mistake about it, this will either help TNA out immensely or it will be their ultimate downfall. If the monthly PPVs are a bust, I don't see them surviving much long afterwards.

Jarrett has to first demolish Jeff Hardy & Monty Brown as credible title contenders, to yet again try (and fail) to prove that he's a main event level talent.

Don't blame me....I voted for Kodos.
I look forward to an orderly election that will eliminate the need for a violent bloodbath. </center>

He'll be signed but I doubt that very much.
