BUT I still watch the fuckin shows (as a matter of fact --right now) on cable..

I was hooked from Day 1; the very first time I heard the voice of Steve Martin describing Godzilla. The original is still one of the top grossing movies ever in Japan.

And there are some Killer ones, like the one mentioned; and a whole MechaGodzilla series, that never made it to the us, or are making there way now. An amazing sub-culture about the whole thing. Hell years ago I subscribed to the Godzilla fanzine; which went into utter meltdown when that Matthew Broderick 'movie' was released.

Yeah good ol Best Buy sells the new Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla now. If you can't tell, i'm a Godzilla fan too.

You can never get enough Godzilla movies. Although I think the producing company said that the last one they made would be the 'last', for a while anyway.

I find it interesting how they have no only improved the effects, the costume and muppetry to make Godzilla look better, but that they have played around with the storylines. Having Godzilla play heel to face Mechagodzilla or Ghidra, of all monsters, makes for a fun movie to watch.

Godzilla...still one of my favorite roars/sounds in the movies.
