What exactly is a 3-4-6 double play or any other combination? I'm having a hard time lookingup what numbers are for what positions...if that's how it works.

The numbers represent the positions on the field.
1. Pitcher, 2. Catcher - 3 1st base, 4 2nd base, 5 3rd base, 6 - Shortstop, 7 - Left Field, 8 - Center Field, 9 - Right field.
