R+F had a caller similar to this late last week. I forget the topic, I was doing some stuff, but then I hear a guy going down the 'why gay is wrong' standard checklist, and when he got to 'where will it end? and started naming off animals Ron stooped him and said, Hey Look, how about we keep the discussion to Human Adults? How about instead of hypotheticals, we 'pretend' that this only concerns actual Humanoid Mammal Type People.
And the funny thing was is it didnt seem to phase the guy. Not in a 'I'm right' way, in a 'well, i'm just gonna keep going down this Standard Checklist...'.
Or more simply, the man wasn't listening. Which is weird when you think about radio talk shows. I can never figure out those callers who ask a sincere Q, and then when the host attempts a sincere answer, they go off on something that sounds almost Prepared. Like 'I know I feel this way Because of X, Y, and Z'. Of course hosts step on callers, but some either wont stop, or will repeat the same thing ad nauseum. like my posts.
I think if you have to really struggle that hard to explain why you dont like something, you're spending too much time on something you simply... Dont Like.
