Does anyone remember the books PUG and ZIP,POP,GO?

They were the reading books I had when I was in elementary school, in the early 80s. PUG was the first one, in which the main character was, you guessed it: a pug. Although, if memory serves me correctly, the picture they had of Pug was of a collie, for some reason. The follow-up to PUG was called ZIP! POP! GO! I don't remember what that one was about, but I remember being very fond of these books. I think there may have been other books in this series. Does anybody else remember them? I would love to take a look at them now, just for a stroll down memory lane. They're probably long out-of-print.
