View Full Version : Kobe's Accuser Files Civil Suit

Attorneys John Clune and Lin Wood said their client was owed money for pain, "public scorn, hatred and ridicule" she has suffered as a result of the alleged attack. They also accused Bryant of similar misconduct involving other women, but provided no details.
So all you have to do is accuse a celebrity of injuring you, wait for the inevitable backlash (by people in no way affiliated with the defendant) and wait for the money to roll in.

Why wouldn't she have asked for money when this first happened? I mean what's 5 million dollars when the charges were filed to avoid a media circus like this? She didn't take the money in the first place (you know it was offered.....some amount of money had to be, so don't debate that). She still wanted to go through with the case and now can't handle it because it is too crazy. Her life is over.
that's was like a week from McDonald's advertising alone....well...before all this happened of course.
I'm waiting for Kobe to sign with Trojan condoms.

I am sure he offered her some cash. And I am sure on some level before this all started she was looking forward to being famous after it was over. If she did not care about the fame, she would have never banged Kobe. There was always the small thought somewhere in her mind that this would be her ticket out of fucking Colorado and into LA or New York. Well obviouslt that did not happen, so she filed the rape charges.
To me, it seems like she is just a fucked up girl who is either trying to get famous or rich. After she was raped she allegedly had sex with someone else.
I doubt Kobe raped her. Maybe talked her into to doing some shit he wanted, but I dount she was complaining while it was going on. Maybe she was pissed after he never called, or that he did not make a big deal about it. Who knows what really happened in there, but I know she is making a bigger deal of this than it really was.
She is dying for attention, as are most girls who sleep around. She did not get what she wanted so now she is tryign to figure out a way to get it. Sucks for Kobe having to deal with it.
Just goes to show you how one person could really fuck up your life, even if you did nothign wrong.

So what the fuck was she supposed to do? Take a shower and pretend it didn't happen? In the issue of a traumatic event, people are not thinking with a level head. Who are we to judge. We weren't there. If's that's the case, Kobe is guilty as hell because we all know brothers like to tap those asses.

Just because a person is famous doesn't mean that they can't do evil things. They are no better than all of us. They bleed red too.

So Kobe is innocent in all this??? Fuck that!!! If he didn't take little Kobe out, none of this shit would be happening right now. I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe and his wife seperated after all this shit is over.

Him banging her and then complaining or rape are 2 different things. Do I think he should have fucked her, NO. But banging a chick and rape are 2 TOTALLY different things. If this was just sex, (which i am sure he has had with numerous other women while he was married), this would have never been an issue.
If, on the other hand, the girl decided she had Kobe by the balls and could get some money/fame out of the deal then it is a whole other issue all together.
In my eyes, banging her was wrong, but I do not believe he raped her.
Trust me, I do not think just because a person is famous they don't do evil things at all. OJ was guilty. Martha - Guilty. But I just have a feeling the sex was consentual and she is making something out of nothing.

The problem is she claims that her sexual encounter with Kobe left her with physical damage in the no-no spot. I highly doubt she would have relations almost immediately afterward if that was the case.

Once the charges were filed, it became a criminal hearing. In Colorado, once she went to the police, she couldn't take it back, even if there was money thrown her way. So there was no offer.

Well said.
Except Martha was just made an example of. She did what countless others do all the time (and continue to do), but this time they had proof.
Kobe's accuser knew EXACTLY what she was doing.
He's wrong on a moral standpoint - but you don't go to jail for that. People have sex all the time - famous sportstars can have it whenever they want.
