Street Webcams & The Fun We've Been Missing Out On

So I was randomly in the mood to see if I could check out a live webcam of somewhere in NYC and the first one I came upon was right here:

From further research, it looks to me like that site is the place to go for a Times Square webcam.

Then I realized how much fun these things can be...

All these people are just walking by it, completely unaware that it's there. But if you KNOW it's there, let the excitement ensue! Give people the finger, flash some boobs (ladies only), HELL, we can even plug RonFez.Net if we wanted to.

Webcams are not a new idea, so I don't know why the potential enjoyment that can be had with these things hasn't dawned upon me before... but keep an eye out on that cam in the next few days. I just might plant a sign or something.


...Perhaps an inflatable Dino.

ChickenHawk these things rock; there's a bunch one town east of me:

Belmar Beach Cam (http://www.belmarbeachcam.com/)

The only drawback is the Stupid 'ocean wave' sound effect.

But on that page, just a little bit down, theres an icon with the words 'New York City Cams' and you get a list of a HUGE amount of cams in the area.

Good times.

I get to look at peple who are relaxing on the beach at 9:30 on a Tuesday, while i'm stuck inside working.

most of the NYC cam links they have don't work or redirect you to NYDOT.
