Slightly Odd request.

I need a text file, or excel document, with a list of all the zip codes in NJ. The only problem is that the MUST be sorted by county.

so if I look up 07045 it will return Morris County.

I also need this for NY and PA, but NJ will suffice for now. If anyone has this, can they PM me. If you happen to find this on the net somewhere (free), please PM me the link or post it here.

This is for a database project I am working on where people will enter the zip code and I need to automatically fill in the county.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

I have checked google and Yahoo, but really did not get a quick and easy list.

Try this. (http://www.melissadata.com/Lookups/countyzip.asp)

That link seems kinda shitty. I have a friend who is looking into it. I'll post back if I get anything...

also try the science/business library on 34th & madison avenue, in the basement they have tons of programs that can generate a host of indicies and reports ...

just bring some prep work, a few floppy disks and you can create all business listings you might need ...

I have been to Melissadata.com and they did not have exactly what I wanted. Thanks though Fester.

badorties - does every library have this? Thanks for the tip.

My buddy sent me this. (http://mcdc2.missouri.edu/websas/geocorr2k.html) I was able to get a CSV in Excel of all the zips/city names/counties in no time.

Good luck.
