Just heard on the Dan Patrick Show on ESPN Radio that Brian Cashman was being profiled in the latest Edition of New York Magazine.

His wife was quoted as saying Brian would love to go to Boston and Take the Red Sox to the World Series.

So, do you think Steinbrenner is going to FLIP when he reads this?

george would be an idiot to get upset. so naturally, he's upset. but i dont blame cashman for even saying that, because its the pinnacle of gm achievement to bring a title to that franchise.

up until the trade deadline, i thought epstein's been doing a good job so far assembling a bunch of hitters. but its nice to see he came to his baseball senses and get some defense. sabermetrics be damned!
