Knicks get off their ass and do something

Knicks send center Dikembe Mutombo, Forward Othella Harington, and Guard Frank Williams to Chicago for Guard Jamal Crawford and Forward Jerome Williams (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=crawfordsigntrade&prov=st&type=lgns)

Id have really liked the move if they kept Frank Williams. I guess I like Jerome Williams more than I do Harrington but thats not sayin much....oh well...The team still blows....

williams had flashes of brilliance, but couldnt stay healthy, or get the coach's confidence long enough to matter.

all these moves are nice, but i couldnt pick these guys out of a lineup, much less know what they're capable of. i'm almost positive this sends the knicks further down that bottomless pit of salary cap hell.

Im not sure if that even positive. They wont be able to sign a good free agent for years to come now and not many teams are rushing to trade for Allan Houston or guys like Nazr Mohammed and Mike Sweetney...
