Here is the situation.
I have someone I know who has major panic attacks and pretty much shuts herself off from the rest of the world. She pretty much makes it into work and home and that is it. I have been very respectful of her privacy (even though she does owe me over 250 bucks). I popped in on her at her house to see how she was after about 2-3 months of no contact. She appeared fine even though she had informed me she was not days later.
During our conversation she told me of something I had of hers which she wanted returned (A PS2 game) so a good friend of hers could let her son play it. I told her I would stop by her job to drop it off to said friend.
Here is where it gets interesting....
I came to the office at about 1pm to drop off the game, talked to the friend for a few minutes then left. I asked if my friend Dee was in and she said "Yes but Eric (her boss) has his office right next to her and it on the warpath so you cannot say hello." I said fine and walked out. As I was about to get to the elevators I tapped on my friends window (she is in an office building and her office is almost all windows and faces the elevators) I tapped on the windows and waved a quick hello and then got onto the elevators and left.
I emailed the woman who I dropped the game off to on Monday to see how her weekend was and if her son liked the game. She went off on me about Dee getting screamed at by her boss and when the friend came in to explain what happened she got screamed at also and then the big boss came in and read the riot act. Ect. ect. This woman shit all over me because I tapped on the window and waved as I was on my way out the door. Saying I did not listen and did my own thing anyway.
Was it wrong of me to just wave as I walked out of the office? My defense was that if I really had not cared I would have walked into her office anyway. They act like I started stripping on her desk right then and there.
If her boss is an asshole then I am sorry for them but I really do not think I did anything that horrendous.
Opinions?
P.S. I am leaving a few things out for the sake of trying to keep from writing a novel here.
