I was eating at McDonald's today near Yankee Stadium just before the game. This woman comes in and she is clearly on crack - you can just see her mind and heart racing - not exactly the young, hip, artsy patron depicted on those "I'm Lovin' It!" commercials.
Anyway, this guy walks up to her, real smooth, like he's going to hand her a fistful of change. She puts out her hand, and just when she expects him to make the donation, he slips it back in his pocket.
Well, crackhead or not, I thought that was incredibly mean - but then again, I don't have to live around crackheads. Imagine this is your neighborhood. I can see how it could make someone angry enough to do this.
Truth be told, I want to eat my hamburgers in peace without worrying about the strung out crack whore in the next booth.
