Greg Maddux going for win #300

I just remembered about this today when the Mets announcers mentioned it for the 7th time. Tomorrow Greg Maddux will be taking on Randy Wolf and the Phillies in his first attempt for his 300th win,yet no one is talking about it, at least not nearly as much as they were when Clemens went for it last year. Is it because he isnt a Yankee? I mean Chicago is a pretty big market is well.

Came at a bad time, and Clemens is a much more flashy pitcher than Maddux. Plus Maddux was in Atlanta for most of his career. Outside of Turner, it's not exactly a media hotbed.
