I just read a small piece (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=573&ncid=757&e=1&u=/nm/20040729/od_nm/pokia_dc) about this guy who takes old fashioned handsets from telephones and connects them them to the cell phones connector for a headset. He sells them on eBay, but I only saw one on there. It looks a little akward, but if it was cheap, I think Id like one.

I agree, but I think it would be kind of cool too. The old fashioned phones (there are different ones, that one in the picture looks a little weird to me too) kind of fit the face and hand better. I know that when Im on the phone and laying down that the cell phone isnt the most comfortable thing to hold, especially if you want to do things with your hands. That handset would probably be easier to cradle with your shoulder and whatnot. I dont think Id drive with it, but I can see situations where it would be preferable to a headset.

Thats way cheesy... Why have a cell phone if your going to do that??.. Looks to me like another paper weight people are going to buy.. (like those singing fish plaques).. :quest:
