I agree with Melrapuo. If that thing is 12 feet then I need that camera to take pictures of my dink.

Actually the first time I read the thread, I picked up on the reference. But the second time I read it, I had that spider picture on the brain, cause the spider is so far in the forground it seems huge, but in actuality it is not all that large. This picture strikes me in the exact same way, just look at how out of focus the guy is, and how it just seems like he's about 10 feet farther back than the pig.

Super swine was real, experts say (http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/03/22/hogzilla.ap/index.html)
ALAPAHA, Georgia (AP) -- A team of National Geographic experts has confirmed south Georgia's monster hog, known to locals as Hogzilla, was indeed real -- and really, really big.
this town 180 miles (290 kilometers) south of Atlanta has already adopted Hogzilla as its own. It went with a Hogzilla theme for its fall festival, with a parade featuring a Hogzilla princess, children in pink pig outfits and a float carrying a Hogzilla replica.
Hogzilla princess?

Hogzilla, a near-mythical monster hog that roamed south Georgia, is about to get a little bigger. An independent filmmaker is producing a horror movie about the super swine called "The Legend of Hogzilla," and has even enlisted the beast's killer on the set as an adviser. A few years ago an enormous wild boar nicknamed `Hogzilla` by the press was shot in Georgia. Last week Naomi West in Texas sent us these pictures of a dead piggywig that rivalled the Georgia beast in size.
'The hog weighed over 530 pounds. It was shot late this past November in the river bottoms of Deweyville, Texas. The road in that area runs parallel to the Sabine River. Residents in the area had never seen the likes of this hog. But it was probably the recent flooding in the area that drove the hog out.
It was shot by Brandon Powell, who is in high school, about age 17. The truck is a Toyota or is Toyota sized (vs. a full-sized truck).
There is a rumour that when some man named Frenchy passed away in 2000 or 2001, his surviving family released his exotic game animals into the wild. Allegedly, he had animals imported from exotic countries. People speculate this hog could have been from his farm.
