Business Ideas needed

My freind and I are looking to start a little cash biz by washing and waxing cars. I made up flyers and gave some to him and we've been distributing them all over the place. ive been to Supermarkets, gas stations (Houses as you allready know) Ive even droped them off at the door of homes in nicer neighborhooods. Now I know its still early since we only started advertising a week ago but still no bites. The only people Ive had call me was The post Office, 2 people telling me once again that its illegal to open mailboxes, and one person trying to get me to advertise with her for some Octoberfest mailing. I mean my prices are right I thing what else can I do to get these peoples attention?

Wait for the shitty weather to stop. Most people do not like to get a car wash when its been raining like this. also, the prices are very good, but people who are willing to spend that much are sometimes the same people who do it themselves because they loev their car. I think you will get some, all yuo need is a few people and good word of mouth.

Do you have a storefront or is this done at your house/your friend's?
You should also try sponserships like a little league team. I'm not sure how much of a dent those will put in your wallets though (try inquiring about it though)

Mobile , I was thinking of doing something over the weekend at a gas station, but Im kinda scared thinking if a cop shows up asking for a business license and either ahlling our ass' to jail, writing up a ticket for thousands of dollars or fineing the gas station for support this

So, you're trying to have an illegal, uninsured business, and you wonder why no one will hire you?

I know it's only car washing, but what happens if you damage the persons car by accident? You're going to need insurance before you start this business.
