Yeah yer right Reef as much of a gear head as I am, reading down the list of features; still doesnt add up to $700.

Ron's dont the schtick before, guys like me and him are the $400 guys. We buy the stuff when it's new, and it's almost always $400. Somtimes it's the $600 guy. DVD player? Electronic Calculator? Dual Deck VCR? DVD Recorder? Digital Camera?

Whatever it was, it was $400-$600 when it was brand new technology and gear-heads like me spent that much, only to watch the price plunge to $99 in a year, two at most. It's the 'I gotta have it first syndrome'

Anyone else remember paying $5 for a single blank CD-R? They were that new, once.

=

For $700; I want it to fly into my hand when I call it, and use mind signals, I think 'Go back to Teen Wolf 2 on USA coz the Game has a pitching change', I want it done for me just by think it.

What is the point of 65,536 colors on a remote? I'm watching TV, NOT the remote.

I saw that this morning and could not comprehend spending that much on that remote. There are way cooler remotes for cheaper. Maybe not with so many colors, but seriously who cares. I bought an add-on module for my PDA that allowed it to be a remote control. With fully programable learnable buttons which you could draw to any shape you like. It was like 49 bucks (plus cost of PDA). not to bad.

My Hometheater is all Sony (except the Speakers) so all the remotes work with each other. My DSS remote seems to take care of everything else very well. My Reciever's remote has a 2 way LCD screen(It gets information from the reciever and displays it on the remote) but I never use the thing.
