I remember that I had a whole mess of games at one point and all of them had that little black cover/holder with the Nintendo Logo on them.. I always my games would go bad if they didn't have them on..lol

And I never likes to lend/borrow games from other people because I was afraid that any problems from their system or games would affect mine if inserted one of these games in my NES system..

I loved Game Genie though! :8|:

Game genie was for pussies. either beat the game yourself or accept that it was to hard for you. beating a game with infinate life and God mode does not count.

I hate lending games. One of my old friends still has my copy of Ken Griffey baseball. I will get it back one day... or else.

i never got to borrow games cause right after i got NES, super nitendo came out and everyone had that

My brother lent our NES to his friend and then he moved and he never got it back. Upsets me to no end.

I was very meticulous with my games. I kept the original box, inner packaging, instructions, etc.. All of my games were always in excellent condition. But I once loaned out a couple of games and by the time I got them back, the box was all beat up, the instructions were no where to be found, the little black cover was gone.. Maybe I was a bit too careful with my NES but I never had a problem out of it working either.

I used to borrow games from my friends, until Errols finally started having Nintendo games to rent. Then I never had to worry about it again.

im still waiting for My Mike Tyson punchout to be given back to me. this dick head trades me this game that you needed a stupid robot gaget to play. i still have not played that awful game.

I use the blue translucent plastic cases for my games, although none of them are from original packaging anyway (bought them back from Funcoland several years back).
