I saw the last hour earlier tonight, yet I've got the damn thing on AGAIN...

There's some kind of diabolical brainwashing built into the first "Jaws," because I have to sit and watch it, no matter what point I walk in on.

I saw this movie for the first time in July, 1975 when it first opened...I took my 8 year old brother to see it with me and he sat there and screamed like a little girl with her panties on fire when the guys head popped out of the submerged boat...when the movie was over, we had to stay and watch it again ...at his insistence!!!!
P.S. i sure hope this thread doesn't get removed because it contains fish violence!!!!

The ironic thing is that as good as "Jaws" is, it basically ushered in the era of the mega-blockbusters and basically killed quality American cinema for a good 15 years.
