My girl opened a Corona about 3 hours ago, and never finished it. I just drank the warm ass remains of her bottle, and it was tastier than the ice cold Coors I'd been sipping. WTF? Am I nuts, or are warm Coronas the most delicious beer ever?

Agreed with these beers but as some have mentioned Guiness and Stouts and Ales, there's room temp; which is ok; then there is ever so slightly chilled, which I like, but if a Guiness or a John Courage was really Iced Down I think it would just taste weird, and probably awful.

So, as long I wake up on time, I screw around on the computer a little bit before I leave for work in the morning. One of those screwing around stops is here. I stop in and check to see if there were any responses to any of my posts. As I look through the list this morning, I am stunned to see the reponses to "Warm Beer". Not because I can't believe you cold beer drinkers don't agree with my sentiment, but because I have absolutely no recollection of making the post. Likewise, I have no recollection of drinking warm Corona, let alone enjoying it.

All I'm saying is this. Drink your beer at room temperature, don't refrigerate it. Unless it is a really, really, reeeeeally hot fucking day, or you're active, say at a softball game or something. If you're just chillin' go with a nice room temp ale. And woe betide any ignorant motherfucker of a bartender who serves me my shit in a frosted glass. He'll be wearing that beer while he pulls me another.

Go to Germany and ask for some cold beer. They'll look at you like you're nuts. They don't drink beer cold. They only drink it warm. And I don't believe they'd have any ice for you, either.

I think my dad's most shameful moment was when I was like 7 and he asked me to go get him a beer when our family was at a BBQ. So I pour it out of the keg (Which took me a good 5 minutes to figure out), and then, thinking it was too warm, tossed a bunch of ice cubes in the glass, and then delivered the thing to him in front of his friends. Never has my father ever looked so disapointed in something I had done.

If I had been older than 10, more than likely. I think the fact I was SO young, and maybe he realized he was having a seven-year-old get him a beer out of a keg, that literally saved my ass.

Beer is better cold. Guinness is best served a little cool, but not ice cold. Just because they serve beer warm overseas doesn't mean that's the way to do it. Germans like some nasty porn... doesn't mean I need my porn that way, too.
