I was in Vegas a few years back and went to the Krispy Kreme in the Venetian hotel. I asked for a Boston Cr確e donut and the responded with "East coast or west coast?"
What the heck is the difference? All I know is the kind I get here in the NJ/NY/DC/everywhere else on the east half of the country.

If it's from Boston, then isn't it east coast by definition?

It's just like an East coast donut, just a little to the left.
