Ok, the present browser I use is Opera. I've been using it for about a year now and it's pretty good. Now I saw a thread about Firefox on the board and decided to give it a try.

Now, my problem is...I downloaded it successfully but I don't know what to do now.!!!! The home page is nothing but how great it is and other useless information....I would like to try it and download all of my bookmarks from opera onto it but it doesn't work...what am I doing wrong???

Reesh, this should do it...

1 - To export your bookmarks, go to the File menu and select "Export", then select "Bookmarks as HTML..." This will save all of your bookmarks in Opera as a single file. Save it somewhere that you'll remember where it is. Such as your desktop, or your "My Documents" folder on your computer.

2 - Open up Firefox.
Go to the "Bookmarks" menu and select "Manage Bookmarks". A small window will pop up for the bookmarks. Go to the "File" menu and select "Import", and "Open Bookmarks" dialog box will appear. If you saved the file to either your My Documents or Desktop then just click on the My Documents or Desktop icons on the side of the window (see image below), and locate the bookmarks file you saved. All of your Opera bookmarks should then be in Firefox.

To change your homepage in Firefox, first go to the
website that you would like to be your homepage.
Next, go to the "Tools" menu, and select "Options" much like you would with Internet Explorer. On the side of the Options window that will open you will see a section labled "General", in there are the settings for your homepage. Towards the top of the window will be the settings for the homepage. Click the button that says "Use Current Page" which should be the page you want to be your homepage (see below). Click the OK button and you're done!
