Yankees vs. Cardinals

Right now they have the two best records in their respective leagues.....so it stands to say that there's a good chance that they're going to play each other in the World Series...my roomate and I were arguing over who's better...I of course said my Yankees and he said the Cardinals....even though I was arguing for my Yankees deep down I was starting to question whether they could beat us.....so as I was walking to lunch today I started comparinig them by position...I figured I'd definitely take Posada over Matheny....Pujols over Clark Cairo over Bo Hart or whoever they have at second...as far as Jeter and Renteria I'd probably take Jeter just on his sheer intangibles...as for third that's definitely a push because Rolen's better with a glove and A Rod is better with a bat...so for me that's a push.....as for their outfields I'd take Sheffield over Reggie Sanders and Edmonds over the combination of Lofton and Williams...and I'd probably take matsui over Lankford...as for pitching I'd say it may be even and we of course have the better closer..any opinions?

I agree with most of that except I'd take Rentaria, Arod and Yankee pitching.

I'd call 2b a push.
