Can Al Franken's statements pass the truth litmus test? How about Michael Moore's?

These guys are entertainers. Their first and foremost obligation is to get ratings/viewers/box office. They do that by being characters and presenting their usually extreme viewpoints that people either love or hate as the truth. Taking one side or the other's word as canon simply because it agrees with your own political beliefs is moronic. The same goes for getting all fired up at the opposition pundit's 'opinions'.

Actually, I was just making a comparison of the two as radio guys. I don't know about you, but I've heard a little of Franken's show and it was pretty boring and one note; and apparently people prefer than to O'Reilly.

Sure O'Reilly has his own political views, but he's more fair to the other side than just about any other talking head type out there.

I like Bills TV show.. But the radio factor is unlistenable.. I would rather listen to Ron and Fez repeats from 2 years ago. That is why after "The fastest hour in radio" I switch to Jim Rome.
