Lance Armstrong - "Magnet": Best Commercial Ever?

I know this commercial isn't exactly new... In fact, it's probably a couple months old by now, but it still airs pretty regularly. It's the one where Lance Armstrong bikes through different parts of the country while groups of people jump in and tag alongside him. This commercial is directed brilliantly and the song composed for it is amazing. This commercial damn-near brings a tear to my eye when I watch it.

I've seen him during the Tour De France, and it's unbelievable that he has cancer. The man is an amazing cyclist.

I agree, those are also really great commercials. Nike & Adidas are on a roll with their advertising.

But this particular one, in my opinion, could be a candidate for best commercial ever.

I just read on Drudge that he won his 6th straight Tour de France. This guy is seriously ridiculous.

The tour isn't close to being over and he isn't even in first as of right now. However, everybody says he still has it locked up already. Weird sport.

He still has a leg to go so it's not over yet, but if he indeed pulls off Six straight [others have done five, and That amazed me] that's pretty frigging amazing.

Not the best template for a hero, he tells the fans this pretty much straight out, but that kind of performance of human and bicycle is Bravura.

Well lets see, Armstrong was in 6th on Thursday and 9mins 35secs behind, now he finished 2nd and 22secs behind on Saturday. So Id say he has a very good chance. Infact I think as I post he is on his was to winning right now.

And yes, that to is one of my favorite commericals.

that is because he has the ability unlike any other rider before to be able to just destroy everyone in the hill and mountain sections of the tour. he stays as close as he needs to in the early stages. then he cranks it up in the late mountain stages.....
