I`m not going, but i did see them back in `86 when I was stationed at the Submarine Base in New London , CT. They were great!
No offense Fiesty, but being a hardcore metalhead, I`m sure I`ll get slammed for this confession! :)

Well, they didnt age well as hit makers, but a look back at the 1980s; I believe they were in the top five selling acts, albums-wise of the whole friggin decade. Surprised even me with that one.

From 'Sacred Songs' by Daryl Oates and 'Exposure' by Robert Fripp; they were both experimenting in NYCity with new sounds and interesting pairings, with some odd results. Like...

i didnt realize just HOW MANY hits they had...all my fave songs basically from the 80's...

my fave is YOUR KISS IS ON MY LIST (although i always thought it was LIPS instead of LIST)

They're not as stuck in the 80ies as everyone thinks. I mean....they're not huge anymore but. then again, they're not quite as nowhere as Loverboy! H&O managed to have several, albeit SMALLER, hits in the 90ies.
Their last record (in 2003) did a respectable amount of business. As did their last greatest hits record. Check the numbers...you'll be suprised!

Also, Darryl has co-written HUGE hits for Mariah and made a TON of money from that alone.

Hall & Oates = valid
Captain & Tenille = nowhere.
