This thread is for the Yahoo Fantasy Football League started by Iamnotatool. I know Tall_James already has a fantasy football thread, but that one was more for signing people up, etc.

This one can be for smack talking & trade discussion, etc. This way there won't be the "wait, which league are you talking about?" posts like there was for fanatsy baseball.

Anyway, since people in the league will likely check here more often here than on the site, I figured we could use our own thread.

If anyone hasn't checked the site recently, the auto-draft has taken place. So take a look at your teams & let the games begin.

Tool, excellent choice with the defensive players, my buds & I have been talking about doing that with a league forever but we never seem to get around to it or figure out how best to do so. Nice job.

I had no idea the auto draft was so soon. i was nto ready at all, and only had a few guys pre-ranked. I got fucking stuck with Matt Haselback as my QB.

JPMN, I had no idea either. In fact, I wasn't even payting attention when I signed up because I thought it was going to be a live draft. My bad. But, Oh well, there's still plenty of time...time for trades, FA pick-ups, and for injuries to open up starting spots for guys that right now have no value, etc.

Plus, I have picked up some sleeper RBs off the waiver wire who I hope to use as trade bait once the season starts.

Yea this will be the most interesting league I am going to be in. It will either be real competive or everyone will not care because they did not get to draft their own players.

I have 2 good team defenses, and am looking for at least 2 or 3 good defense prospects if anyone wants to trade.

I got fucking stuck with Matt Haselback as my QB.


I don't know the rules of the league, but Haselback isn't a bad QB to have this year. the team scores a ton of points and has 3 good receivers with Robinson/Jackson/Engram. if you got him 4th round or later that's not bad.

I think it took him first round, and that is what I am pissed about, but I do not know where to check and see my draft order. He is def. a decent QB, and I am not THAT mad, but there are a few more guys I would have liked to take above him. I will make sure with what I have. I also have Chad Pennington on the bench. I just realized that about 2 minutes ago.

I'm happy with my RB's for the most part and that's the most important. Got two Seattle WR's and that makes me nervous. If anyone wants to make a trade there I'm down.

Also the Defensive guys were totally random. What the hell happened there? I don't want some seventh round 2004 draft pick when some of the premiere guys are on the waiver wire.

I thought about using up my waiver spot to pick up players but decided against it. Maybe that #2 will come in handy over the season. I was the first one to get in after FA's opened up so it wasn't that bad.

Because none have been accepted yet...it was trade offers he was referring to. If there isn't anything on top of the page when you go to the "My Team" page, then you aren't among the chosen ones he's trying to pillage players from.
