So I'm watching Snatch on tbs...

...and they changed the word Pikey (sp?) with gypsy, and I was wondering...is pikey like the "N-word" to gypsys?

I found it weird, and wondered if there was anymore to it then making it easier for someone watching it for the first time.

btw Snatch is in my top 3 favorite movies.

I thought Pikey was more of an enlish term. I know bloody or bleeding is more of an obscene term over there. I could be completely wrong.
I defer to Blakjeezis on this issue.

And I liked the movie a lot, but I liked Lock, Stock, and 2 Smoking Barrels better. Possibly only because I saw it first.
