Who will win the title at vengeance?

I think benoit will win with help from Eugene when he finally comes to his senses that Evolution does not like him but is only using him.

Sorry but Benoit is kinda boring with the belt. He seems to only know how to act mad. He's just a good wrestler. He deserves the belt, but HHH is the perfect heavyweight heel. He can be funny, threatening, scared, sneaky, and put up decent main event matches.

Eddie can pull off the good guy champion because he has the charisma. He is a complete package. He has the stage presence, the wrestling skill, and a mullet. What more do you need? Although the whole SBL thing is retarded

I'm hoping that it'll go the way Teenweek says, but I just have this bad feeling that it will be Triple H.

Let me just start off by saying how sad it is that they could put the belt on virtually anyone on RAW - they could put the belt on fucking Garrison Cade - and that person would still be, essentially, just a placeholder, because eventually that title IS going back around the waist of HHH.

HHH will probably win. Especially since they seem to be aiming for HHH v. Edge at Summerslam (where HHH can, presumably, bury him as well.)

Can you honestly say they have not done a good job with benoit. He has beat HHH, HBK and Kane already. Wrestlemania 3 way is pretty much a lock for match of the year. I think they are doing a good job of building Benoit as a champ. He needs to hold the title I would say at least until Survivor Series or the earliest Summerslam. Not at a raw PPV like Vengeance.

I say Hunter because he is Vince's son in law but moreso because they don't let title reigns go that long anymore I mean when was the last time you saw WWE let someone hold a belt for more than six months let alone a year or two...so I say HHH is going to be the champ again

Yeah, they should let Benoit lose it at one of the "Big 4" ppv's. It would help in making the title special again instead of it changing every other PPV.

Your kidding me right? Trips had the World Heavyweight Title for most of 2003.

Orton has held the IC belt for close to 9 months

because he is Vince's son in law

there's your reasoning for that

Orton has held the IC belt for close to 9 months

That's cause he's the son in law's project...although if two weeks ago my dad had turned two feet to the left going into the Garden we may not be talking about Randy Orton right now but that's another story in and of itself

So I am the only person on this entire board that believes that WWE is going all out pushing Benoit and that since Wrestlemania HHH has done whatever is best for business and has put over countless people like Benoit, Eugene, and Shelton Benjamin to name a few.

I thought many of you were Benoit fans. SHAME ON YOU!!!

We are Benoit fans. But we just knew the type of power Hunter wields in the fed.

I feel so ashamed to actually doubt Benoit. Yes, Teenweek, you are right for saying that HHH has been a different person since WrestleMania XX. I just hope it's a continuing trend.

It is just looking to me like the World Title is irrelevant as Trips seems to be coming out on top every week still. At least thats how it looked tonight and last week. I swear, I know I stopped watching three months ago for a reason and I was hoping things would have cleared up by now.

what are you talking about. HHH has done more jobs since Wrestlemania than Hurricane. He has put countless people over. The World Title is a hell of a lot more important in the eyes of many than the WWE title held by Bradshaw.

In wrestling, the good guys get beat up only to come out on top later. Last night was the big setup for Summerslam.

It just seems like the same old Triple H garbage. You know that although he is doing jobs he is still the main role player and not truly pulling the spotlight off of himself. It's just weak. You know that the belt will wind up around his waist again and it just seems like such a weak (yes, again) attempt at compelling TV. Oh wait, the Diva Search has been so intense. There is my compelling television. Eugene was good for a little bit but come on already. I stopped watching because it just got boring for me. To me, the World Title looks irrelevant when it plays second fiddle to a non-title Hell In The Cell match. Now I may have to go back and look at the card again but wasn't the Benoit title match BEFORE the HHH - HBK Hell In The Cell match? Hence, me thinking the Title seems insignifigant.

One of the main reasons SmackDown isn't even worth watching..they should give the belt to Cena
