View Full Version : Jay Mohr on NYC Radio?

So due to the fact that I have a newborn in the house, I had to walk away from the computer and the underground to go to the kitchen for a hot second to make a bottle. I turn on the radio in there (tuned to 1050 ESPN radio) and I hear a familiar voice. Jay Mohr is the guest host of the Jim Rome Show tonight (more accurately this afternoon, but NYC gets a late replay of it). In 5 minutes I've already heard one Christopher Walken impersonation. This is making me long for the good old days before SFS 3. Why can't there be good talk radio in NYC anymore?

If you are looking for great radio... wait until Opie and Anthony or Howard Stern move to Satellite Radio.

Big fan of him or not, he was good for the half hour that I heard. Keep in mind, it was a sports talk format. It wasn't like he was just "riffin" the whole time. More important than how he did was how hearing his voice on the radio made me think of O & A, and long for the days of talk on WNEW.
