It's the end of my Fourth celebration, I just got back from the neighbors pool, I've had a lot to drink, so I'm feeling a little sentimental. What is it that you love about this country?

I'll tell you whatr nmoves me.p I ws born in England, I moved here when I was 9. I am now 25, and I've had more jobs than I care to count, owned more cars than I cre to count, and been the owner and operating agent of a (semi) successful business. None of this would have been possible anywhere else. Americva, no matter what the pundits tell you, really, truly is the land of opportunity. There is more here for you than you even imagine. Please take every adavantage that is given to you. If I was in England right now, I would have amybe had a job that had nothing to do with my chosen profession, would have finished university, and would be on the dole.

I LOVE AMERICA!!!

America means alot to me... we take it and our liberties for granted... when i leave my apt for the subway i get a straight shot down my street at the Statue of Liberty - at night its even more magnificent

everytime i walk- i say to myself "we already lost the twin towers, what would losing the statue of liberty do to us?" yes i know its not a great thing to think but its true

Statue of Liberty is the one symbol (well i think) that embodies America (sorry if its corney)

Being born in America is the greatest accident of geography anyone can ever ask for...I sometimes think hey I could have been born in another country where some probably don't have indoor plumbing.....Yeah we do take our freedoms for granted...big time....there's people who hate us and want our freedoms to be taken away....or those countries in the world that we've helped that hate us but next time they're up shit's creek they'll be on their knees begging for us to bail them out.....and then there's those inside this country that want our basic values taken away and turned against us...like these morons that I want God taken out of everything....but no matter what we still live in a great country....a country that people would risk their lives to get into...God Bless America everybody

Whenever this question comes up i think of what Chris Rock said. I think I am paraphrasing, but he said If your black America is like the Uncle who put you through college but molested you at the same time.

Someone already brought up the Chris Rock joke that totally exemplifies my feelings about America. It is a great country that offers its citizens a wealth of opportunities. However, for a black person, life can get a bit difficult.
