I hated CURRENT EVENTS assignments in middle school...most of the times people had the same articles.... of course (and know im feeling like an old head) we didnt have the internet to look articles up- NEWSPAPERS were what we had to use - YUCK!
i always felt so much pressure when it came to this
i loved social studies BUT i hated doing this crap

I was never good at scissors so I hated assignments where you had to cut and paste shit and nevermind Apollo Creed just got killed by Drago! Back to the Rocky Marathon on AMC!

HA! i totally forgot about current events! I was always the kid with the article from the paper the day the assigment was due. I would always wait to the las minute. Usually I would bring in the entire paper and just let all my friends cut shit out from the same paper. That shit was such a waste of time. Do you think they still do that anymore? It would be so easy to do it now.

I would rather have rather fucked a fat chick then have to make a diarama. Thinking back, middle school was basically a huge waste of time.

It just always pissed me off cuz usually a week after I had to find slave to find anything that wasn't stupid, something serious would happen.
Pus my attitude was really bad even as a kid. When the Challenger exploded with that teacher on board, i believe i was in first grade and my response was, "Well, was it REALLY necessary to be up there in the first place?"
It all went down hill from there.

I hated current events because my teacher had specifics about what we could use (had to be a world event one day from Europe, had to have something aboutr the president, etc) Worst part was that whatever I did, I forgot some detail in the assignment and I got points docked...
Damn, repressed feelings now coming out and I'm now crying like a little girl, are you all happy now!!!!

i had current events in high school. it was apart of the humanities class. so i took it during the summer. the classes were shorter. the teacher was nice. he didn't care what they were about, just as long as you had the right number done at the end of the summer school session. so i waited till the last week to do them.
search, cut, paste, summerize........too much work

this sounds like the classes I took in the summer during college. The professors didn't give a damn about the class and was just there to collect the extra paychecks.

in grammar school i liked art alot but always forgot to tell my Mom about the supplies i needed... whether it was masking tape, shoe polish, and a glass bottle to make the vase or the picture frame, paints, and aluminum foil to make your own painting with foil background... i used to love to draw this one clown with little stars circling his eyes. i kept that painting for alot of years and then lost track of where it went...
