Ahem...all of you imposters can eat your hearts out. My fellow comrades, in and out of the RFW wrestling world, I am prepared to make to monuemental announcements on behalf of NWA/TNA. Today on TNA's PPV, none other than the world's most dangerous man, and the first TNA world champion, Ken Shamrock will make his return as well as be featured on TNA Impact. And then, theres the flat out ball buster...
Much to Vince's horror, the multiple world champion, and the toughest son of a bitch to ever grace the ring is coming to TNA for a one time only appearance in the near future. THAT'S RIGHT! TNA IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT NONE OTHER THAN STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN HAS BEEN SIGNED TO APPEAR ON TNA FOR A ONE TIME DEAL.
Ok, you guys can pick your jaws up off the floor now.

This is HUGE!
Oh wait. Sorry, I thought it was 1997 for a second. You mean TNA has signed someone who's a shadow of his former talent and ability and no longer works for the fed?
I'm going back to sleep.

now that was funny. I guess its good for TNA just to get their name out there more. but an Austin who can't wrestle isn't worth all that much to me.

Come on guys, it's Austin! I mean, Austin appearing on TNA is gonna give McMahon the shakes for at least a week. This is a very good move on TNA's part and I hope they hype it up so they can get the exposure the need.

Now that's funny.
BTW, for those who didn't know, Austin has actually been spending a lot of time hanging out with Diamond Dallas Page late. Page, by the way, has also just recently split from his wife, the lovely Kimberly......COINCIDENCE?!?!?! Man, Austin's now breaking up other people's marriage!
I have to be a wet blanket too. If Austin can't wrestle, he's pretty much worthless. And I don't see the value in bringing him in just the once - especially since they probably won't do it to put over someone who could USE a victory over him (assuming he can wrestle), someone like Killings or Styles. No, if they bring him in, it'll probably be to eat a chairshot from Jarrett, as if Jeff needs to go over YET AGAIN.

I cannot confirm or deny that statement at this time.
All I can say is there is alot of interest to do something with Austin.

YOU guys are kidding .. this is huge .
one of wwf's #1 stars going to impact.
if he doesnt wrestle doesnt even matter. jsut showing up is all he has to do.
austin and jarrett cutting a promo. would be hot.
my favorite vince has always been new blood russo.
sabu/raven can be better then any feud wwf has right now.................................the franchise isnt wrestling right now but its great to have him on impact now isnt it.
put imapct up against sd......
and we will see what goes down....
heck put it up against raw.. and lets see what wwfs ratings are then.

A couple things:
1.) He hasn't been with the WWE for a few *months* now, so you can't really label him one of the WWE's #1 stars.
2.) Well, I suppose you could, but you'd be wrong, because the year is 2004 and not 1997.
I don't give a shit about this. On one level, I suppose I should be happy, because I like TNA and I want TNA to succeed, and having high-profile "free agents" like Austin or Jeff Hardy associated with them will, possibly, help them. But this is Austin we're talking about.
ONCE, I was a big fan of his. Hell, I even supported him when he walked out on the WWE. But that was before he beat the shit out of his wife - after that, I couldn't care less about him.
