i've been watching and its actually been enjoyable to sit through. for some reason the guy makes me laugh. he really is amazing and the other contestants show it on their faces. he is betting around $6000-10000 daily doubles and if he misses he is still up by twice his total. i haven't seen all of them, but the ones i have going into the last question he can bet around $10K and have no chance at losing.

I thought he was great. Perhaps because he reminded me of me. Piuki hated him. We're both up in the air about this new champ. She seems nice, not annoying. I save my opinions of Champs until their introduction on the second day. I watch their face as Johnny announces how much they've won so far. Ken Jennings, from Day 1, had the smuggest look on his face every time his winnings were said. I wanted to punch him with his signalling button.

They're doing Double and Final tonight which means Wednesday will probably be a more traditionally paced game between them.

You can definately see where Watson has trouble which is pretty interesting. I would like to see how Watson chooses categories and wagering, and also hope in the last game they eliminate the little possible answers box.
