at first francis wanted nothing to do with this trade cause he wanted to stay in Houston.. but the GM from the Magic is what made this deal happen... he had a long visit and talk with Francis and that sold the deal.. Magic will give the east a good run... the Rockets will not come near my T-Wolves...WE will own the west... There is a ton of better defenders in the west than in the east..

i was thinkin at first that minnesota was still the power house in the west till i realized a couple things about the T Wolves:
1)As much as i like to watch the T wolves, and hope they do well, Kevin Garnett is a question. Now i know he is gonna have a great year, he is KG, but i dont think he can have another MVP year. I do, however, have the best chance at getting this one wrong.
2)Sam Cassell. Sam Cassell is great for that team, when he plays healthy. After the playoffs, even if he plays the whole year, how healthy will his back be. he is a huge part of the team and KG's success
3) Latrel Spreewell. Im a knick fan, and i love spree, but he is about due to fuck something up.

the best thing Minn has goin is that it will take some time fro Yao and Tmac to adjust. But if they do quick, watch out, cause i dont even think Minnesota at full strength could beat Houston.

And goddammit Wally, this isnt Miami of Oh, so pass the fuckin ball alright

though phix makes a great idea there, i dont see francis for iverson, and with all that happened this year, i dont see iverson goin anywhere. any team with the money is looking at ways to get shaq now, not AI, plus whats the point.

Why put Iverson on a team with young guys like Gooden and solid shooters like Mobley and the like, since with Iverson, they'd never see the fuckin ball.

i still feel that if shaq is going anywhere its toe ither dallas or the magic. and i dont see dallas being a frontrunner. orlando can pack up nelson and the high schooler and future picks for the big man, and then deal franchise to philly for iverson.

shaq has said numerous times that he feels that iverson is one of the top 5 players ever. so i think that he would enjoy playing with him. if i was orlando's gm thats what i would do.

that seems real stupid for Orlando to trade away what could be a pretty good future. Shaq is done after three years and Nelson and Howard could have another 15 each. If that was to happen they should at least keep one of the young guys and trade Francis in that deal rather than getting Iverson at all.

I thought originally it would make sense to trade T-Mac + for Shaq and that T-Mac could play SF. But I think Orlando definitely is better off with Francis, Mobley, and Cato than they would be with just Shaq.
